Avery's First Thanksgiving

Avery had a very busy first Thanksgiving weekend. We went to my parents' house on Thursday. Avery liked watching all the dogs run around (there were four Yorkies there between us all). Then we went down to Tama to visit with some of Matt's family. For some reason, she really likes it when football is on TV, so she was enjoying the game while we were there. On Friday, we went to my cousin's house in Readlyn. She wasn't too sure what to think of her two little cousins, but they loved her. The four year old told her she had "cute pants". About this time, she decided that she was pretty much over the whole Thanksgiving thing, and would only stop crying if Mommy or Daddy held her. Grandma & Grandpa Sime also came down from Wisconsin to visit. Overall, it was a great time, and we have so many things to be thankful for this year!

On Saturday, we went to Dunkerton to celebrate Eric & Sara's little boy Oliver's first birthday. They are good friends from high school. Avery had lots of fun laying on the ground kicking and watching all the people move around. It's hard to believe he's turned one already!

Fun Pictures

Here are some fun pictures I've been meaning to post for a while.

Looking smart in Daddy's glasses.

Everything is going to be "okay".

Trying to fill some big shoes!

Those fingers sure taste good.

She really likes the Bumbo seat.
